It's election day - get out the boat!
Me: We're going to go vote today. Let's walk down to the big kids' school.
Children: Yay!!
A little while later, as we exit the polling place.....
Me: Okay, it's time to go home now.
Lauren: But I wanted to go on the boat!
Children: Yay!!
